It's a big weekend for our little shul in the big woods!
Friday Night - December 2nd
Saturday Morning - December 3rd
Torah Study - Educational. Irreverent. Entertaining. Thought-provoking. Rabbi Elisa will be leading us through Dvar Toldot. Rabbi Elisa brings insightful commentary, while we bring our thoughts, opinions and the occasional joke, all of which leads to an entertaining and informational morning! Torah Study begins at 10am.
And from Torah Study we'll head into our Torah Service. There will be singing. There will be praying. There will be a Torah out and read from! Services begin at 11am.
Sunday Morning - December 4th

If you order through Amazon.com, you can support our community while you're at it? It's as simple as clicking the image below, then just going about your order in the ordinary way. It's that simple! Amazon automatically gives us a small percentage of everything on your shopping list. So thank you in advance for helping!
PS It says Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but we can actually use it ALL YEAR LONG!

Once a month Ileen and I (Deborah) get together to set up the blog posts for the month. Sometimes we do better than others - there's a few weeks here and there where the website goes UN-updated, but our hearts are in the right place.
Not everyone is a webmaster (or even juuuuust tech-y enough to take care of the website) but everyone can help. The Donate Now button below allows you to make a donation to our little shul in the big woods. That money goes towards all the things we do at the shul - from buying new prayer books, to feeding our congregants the delicious lunches that we get after services and for holidays, and all sorts of things in between.
It even helps with ongoing repairs to the building following that nasty flood a year ago.
And every penny helps. If you can't volunteer to help with the website, or any of the committees that meet, maybe you could spare $5? Or $18? Or even $180, if it's in your budget? Because we all show our love in different ways. I play with graphics and pretty pictures while Ileen feeds me grilled cheese (a perk of being the "webmaster") and others...well, everyone has their own way.
Please donate today and show a little love to our little shul.
