KSS COVID Policy
Updated December 11, 2022

In order to continue to protect each other and our community, all persons joining an indoor gathering must show proof of vaccination and all appropriate boosters, when eligible. In the case of mitigating circumstances, in which a participant is unvaccinated or has not received a recent booster, the participant is requested to test.  We ask for participants to show proof of vaccination, which they can do by showing the card or the NY State Excelsior Pass Plus, which may be downloaded here.

We follow CDC guidelines regarding masking. Masking is not required unless CDC levels are “high” for Nassau and/or  Suffolk Counties.

When Nassau and/or  Suffolk Counties designated "high," we require masking (K95 or KN95) or a negative COVID test within 24 hours. Members will be on the honor system for testing; guests will be asked to show proof of recent test (such as a photo with a time stamp). and we want to protect the vulnerable among us and our loved ones, so we will continue to mask indoors. At events including meals (such as the Hanukkah dinner), all participants will be asked to test first. KSS does have tests that people can use upon arrival, if necessary.

In-person, indoor gatherings will also be Zoomed, so that all people, regardless of health status or comfort level will be able to participate.

These requirements and accommodations enable us to safely come together as a community. We are grateful for your continued support and cooperation.
