1/7/2019

Sunday, February 3 from 9:30 - 11 am

Please join us for Kehillath Shalom Synagogue's second Rosh Chodesh gathering, as we welcome Rosh Chodesh Adar I.

A leap year, this year has two months of Adar - and Purim is celebrated in Adar II. A leap year in Hebrew is called me'uberet, pregnant. We will explore: what is hidden and growing for us this month?

The heroine of the Purim story is Esther, whose name means hidden, as she hid her identity in the court of the king.

What do we hide, and why?

Each gathering incorporates learning, sharing, and embodied activity. Make a mask that reflects and expresses what you are growing or releasing this Adar I.
