Transit, a movie by Christian Petzold, tells the story of Georg, who flees the forces of fascism, takes on another man’s identity, then falls in love with his wife. This film is highly acclaimed, and has been called “hauntingly beautiful,” and “timely,” where “the past and present are a terrifying blur . . . a brilliant allegory set in France.”
