(at least it doesn't look like this!)
Come in out of the wind and rain and share We Wee Whee Shabbat and Soup Shabbat with Rabbi Lina on Friday night, February 7th!
Saturday, February 8th is our Tu BiShevat Seder! Tefilah at 10am and Seder at 11:15am (see details below)
Tu BiShevat is: Trees
Tu BiShevat is: the Environment
Tu BiShevat is: Israel
Tu BiShevat is: New Life
Tu BiShevat is: Fruit of the Tree and Fruit of the Vine
Tu BiShevat Seder: 2.8@11:15am, after Shabbat Service.
If you would like to contribute to the feast, feel free to bring:
nuts, fruits, any of the seven species of the Land of Israel: dates,
pomegranates, figs, olives, grapes, wheat, & barley.
Wine and grape juice also welcome.
Please join the communications committee on
Tuesday, February 11th at 6pm
to eat pizza and ponder just what makes Kehillath Shalom Synagogue so KSS-y! We’ll have some simple and (surprisingly enjoyable!) exercises to get our creative juices flowing and keep the conversation light and lively.
Remember, we really need YOU to be there to tell us who you think we are. The more folks that attend, the wider expanse of views we’ll have and the more inclusive our vision will be.
That’s Tuesday, February 11th at 6pm and dinner will be served. Please rsvp to Deb at deborahglobus_AT_hotmail.com (or text me at 631-935-2777) so we can get a head count for dinner!
