Jewish communities across Long Island will roll out yoga mats to prepare body and soul for the majesty of Shabbat.
Join us for a soul-centering yoga session infused with the symbolism and meaning of Kabbalat Shabbat.
Bring a mat (if you have one) and a towel.
Led by Rabbi Lina and Barbara Kremen.
No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Torah Study: Our portion includes the verses: There shall be one law for you and for the resident stranger; it shall be a law for all time throughout the ages. You and the stranger shall be alike before the LORD; the same ritual and the same rule shall apply to you and to the stranger who resides among you. (Numbers 15:15-16).
There's a lot of discussion about the stranger in our midst - what does the tradition say?

Welcoming the month of Tammuz: July 2 at 6:30 pm.
Tradition dates the incident of the golden calf to the 17th of Tammuz - and suggests that women did not take part. Women had a different kind of faith. What does faith mean to you? How do you strengthen it?
