The Washington Post said Never Look Away is one of the best - and most beautiful films out now.“ This movie, loosely based on the life and early career of the German artist Gerhard Richter, is “a meditation on art, memory, and meaning . . .  a deep-dive into the postwar psyche of the filmmaker’s native Germany.” The movie begins in 1937 and spans 30 years. It has been called a sweeping, romantic historical drama.

The DVD is available at Nassau and Suffolk libraries. However,  you might be able to borrow it only from your own library because it is considered a new movie. See the trailer here.
